Job Description
Federal contractor is a progressive, customer-oriented, engineering and information technology firm in Arlington, VA. They are currently seeking a full-time ASP.Net / C# application developer. Experience delivering secure Web applications using ASP.Net / C# and related technologies is required. Selected candidates will be part of a strong development team; and will be responsible for developing functional web based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Writing secure, reusable and easily maintainable code.
• Design, develop and maintain ASP.Net applications following industry best practices.
• Database design/development – MS SQL Server (2008, 2012)
• Communicate effectively with management, colleagues and partners.
Requirements:
• Must be a US Citizen.
• 4-year degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing web applications using Microsoft.Net technologies.
• In-depth experience with C# and ASP.Net 3.0 or later.
• In-depth understanding of relational databases and SQL for implementing database-driven, web-based applications using T-SQL and Stored Procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem solving abilities and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Self-motivated, with a strong sense of accountability.
