Short Project Description: 
The ERP team within HPES CoSD Finance and General Government Applications Group (FG3) is looking to hire a test manager to participate in the upgrade of the CoSD PeopleSoft application from 9.0 to 9.2 version. In addition to the PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade, there will be additional PeopleSoft modules such as Human Capital Management, eBenefits, and ePerformance that will be included as part of the upgrade project. A successful candidate for this position possesses 10 or more years experience in software quality assurance and at least 5 years as a test lead. 

Skills Required (provide specific details around tools, client environment, certifications needed, etc.). A successful candidate for this position possesses the following testing skills: 

10 years or more experience in leading and delivering testing services in multiple technologies and industry. 
Advanced understanding of software test methodologies and development methodologies and their interaction. 
Experience and expertise in testing tools. 
Strong in Project Management and Customer/Vendor Management. 
Must have a minimum of 5 years technical experience in HRMS/HCM. 
Must have worked on PeopleSoft HCM 9.0 or 9.1 within the last 2 3 years. 
Must have minimum of two PeopleSoft Upgrade Implementation experience; at least one must be on HCM 9.x 
Must have HRMS/HCM functional experience including HR, Payroll, Benefits, and MSS (Manager Self Service) is desirable. 
Must have functional experience in e-Benefits and e-Performance module experiences is desirable. 
PeopleSoft Production support experience is desirable. 
Good to have minimum of 5 years development life-cycle experience with People-Tools 8.4x or higher including: People-Code, SQR, Crystal and Application Engine. 
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated influencing skills, and ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team. 
High level of technical and team leadership skills. 
Exceptional knowledge of requirements, design specifications, and test strategy. Able to perform ambiguity analysis, perform risk analysis, establish testing priorities, and scope, develop testing strategy, review testing strategy, validate requirements and specifications, develop test plans, review test plan, develop test scenarios, select test design techniques, and develop testing metrics collection plan in order to plan and prepare for testing. 
Proficient in testing analysis and design, functional and performance modeling, and test specifications to: 
Develop functional and performance models for testing. 
Develop and validate test specifications. 
Evaluate and validate test cases and scripts. 
Validate testing coverage 
Escalate quality issues for resolution. 
Defect management and reporting. 
Proficient in test management and automation tools: HP ALM 11.x, Business Process Testing, Unified Functional Tester 11.x, and Performance Center 11.x. 
Proficient in test reporting and metrics: 
Test planning and coverage reporting 
Test execution summary reporting 
Defect reporting 
Testing status and project feedback 
Archive testing assets in order to verify completion of testing 
Strong team player. 


Required Education and Qualifications: MUST HAVE’s: 
Bachelor's Degree or Masters degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. 
Experience working for a Consulting Services organization. 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
Ability to work effectively in a time critical environment. 
Must excel in an agile / iterative development environment.
