• Clear communication (needs to deal with 5 different IT groups within account and articulate concepts, procedures, and methodologies)
• Consultative attitude (needs to explain, justify, and even argue a solution/setting/configuration) - reserved personalities not a plus
• Cisco experience (creating zones, configuration) - deep knowledge a plus
• HDS enterprise administration - HCS SW: HDP, HDvM, HTnM, HTSM.  HDT a plus.
• HDS migration from EMC (VMAX) via UVM migration – will need to know step by step with each storage resources involved

Secondary (nice to haves):

• HUR/TrueCopy administration – CCI commands (pair create, sync, etc)

Once selected, candidate must attend final face to face interview in NYC

SKILLS REQUIRED:

·         Strong Storage Administration Skills on HDS Enterprise (VSP G1000, VSP) and EMC (DMX, VMAX,VNX, CX) using GUI and CLI Tools

·         Strong working experience on HDS and EMC replication Technologies (HUR, TC, SI,TI,SRDF,Time Finder)

·         Strong Storage and SAN Performance Analysis, Capacity Management, Trouble Shooting skills

·         Strong on Shell Scripting. Able to automate tasking using Shell Scripting and able to review existing scripts and modify as they need changes

·         Strong communication and Self-driven

·         Should be able to articulate differences between various Storage technologies. Able to understand the requirements of non-storage persons like Systems, DBA and Application teams and work with them

·         Daily onsite requirement, able to work outside normal business hours to support major events

NICE TO HAVE But NOT required:

·         Well versed with HDS and EMC Migration Technologies (Tiered Storage Manager and Open Replicator)

·         Well experienced on Cisco and Brocade Switches
