Location:

• Mon - Thurs: Washington DC, 2 blocks from the metro around L Street (Client site)

• Fri: Reston, VA (Appian office). This project with USAC is implemented through Appian Corporation. Persistent Systems is one of the leading professional services partner for Appian.


Quality Control (QC) Lead duties:

• Oversight and direction of quality control for development, testing, and delivery of the application

• Writing test plans, test cases, and participating in test execution

• Coordinating with the client Quality Assurance team on UAT and acceptance of applications

• Preparing User Acceptance Test (UAT) planning and directing business analysts in preparation for UAT

• Tracking test results, test statistics, and working with client on UAT processes



QC Lead skills and experience:

• Total experience: 8+ years

• At least 2 years of experience with software testing and user acceptance testing

• Skilled in Quality Control techniques and processes for software development

• Knowledge of tools and procedures for QC metrics and statistics that support software development

• Prefer specific QA/QC role experience in an application software development environment

• Experience with tools to track and report defects

• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus

• Experience with agile/scrum development methodology is a plus.
