The QA will be testing a web based system. The testing will be manual and a lot of testing for the final phases of UAT testing. The candidate will be required to work with the BA to write solid test cases and test scripts.
The QA will be working with the end users on the claims for unemployment. The QA will not only be testing for functionality of the system, but also to be sure the verbiage will make sense to an end user.
Testing will include situations such as page navigation. For example, if the user clicks on the back button in the browser, will they lose all entered data? The sophistication of the end users will have a wide range of skills and the QA will have to put themselves in the mind set of various levels of users.
Test data will be provided. The back end utilized Oracle and also the generation of XML files.
