Description: Project Summary: Client is world leader in FX settlement. Client would like to evaluate and validate BigData technologies (specially NoSQL systems like Apache Cassandra) for building a distributed ledger solution.
Responsibilities:
1. Understanding the requirements from the customer which would involve discussions with various teams @ customer end, documenting and validating the requirements from customer
2. Conducting workshops on BigData technologies
3. Coming up with possible approaches to build the required system
4. Doing multiple (quick) PoCs with required technologies - this would also involve setting up the cluster - either on premise or in cloud
5. Demonstrating the system capabilities to the customer
6. Working with offshore Architect and Team
7. Design and Implement distributed ledger solution using BigData technologies like Apache Cassandra (Datastax Platform)
Key Technical skills:
· Apache Cassandra (dev and setup), Data Modeling in Cassandra, Java, Hadoop 2.0, Sqoop, Hive, Linux, Message Queues, Datastax Platform
· Total Experience: 10+years
Desired Skills:
· Datastax Certified Cassandra Architect
· Datastax Certified Cassandra Developer
· Understanding of BFSI domain
