| Job Description | Client– Engineering Services– Senior Technology Architect - US – Cloud & Telematics Wanted: Global Innovators To Help Us Build Tomorrow’s Enterprise As a Senior Technology Architect, you will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; provide technology consultation; assist in defining scope and sizing of work; anchor Proof of Concept developments and support opportunity identification and pursuit processes and evangelize Client brand. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, lead and participate in sales and pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. This position may require 10% travel and or relocation. Qualifications Basic • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology. Preferred • At least 8 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks • At least 3 years of experience in architecting, designing and implementing Cloud based solutions • At least 3 years of experience in cloud systems (i.e. Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services) • At least 3 years of experience in defining application architecture on Azure (differentiate between web/worker roles, choose appropriate virtual machine size, define a resource efficient deployment for application life cycle, identify performance vs cost trade-offs) • Experience with defining data storage architecture on Azure (e.g. choosing an appropriate data storage model, plan a cost effective architecture, plan for storage and accessibility, data migration from traditional DBs to SQL Azure etc.) • Experience with debugging and analyzing application issues using Azure tools • Experience with designing solutions involving interoperability with non-Microsoft technologies, integration with existing apps • Understanding of security best practices and standards is required • Understanding of market and technology trends • Analytical skills • Experience in Telematics domain will be an added advantage • Experience in providing advanced technology advisory services. • Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. |
