Primary Skills: 1 year of data analysis/BI reporting experience

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze, and evaluate existing data systems and user needs as they relate to business intelligence and reporting.

• Interpret database structures and SQL queries as needed to identify data elements for analysis and reporting.

• Develop and maintain a reporting and analysis production processes that support the distribution of reports, both routine and ad hoc.

• Assist in coordinating, evaluating and analyzing operational and functional reporting and data analysis tools.

• Provide recommendations for improvement in data, reports, as well as maintenance and enhancement of existing reports for business users.

• Assist Project Managers and Business Analysts in testing of deliverables to ensure that requirements are accurately met and on time.

• Identify inefficiencies and recommend changes to improve quality and streamline processes.



Experience/ Skill sets preferred:

• Experience building reports, dashboards and extracting data using SQL, Excel, and other tools

• Experience analyzing, summarizing and validating data from multiple sources of large data sets

• Ability to document business use cases and translate into the development of reports and data views

• Discipline to multi-task and prioritize requests to meet scheduled deadlines

• Comfortable communicating with all levels of management

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently



Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 1 year of data analysis/BI reporting experience

• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Calculations, Statistical Tools, Data Model, Charts/Graphs)

• SQL development experience a must

• Advanced skills: SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

• Basic skills: SSRS, SSMS, SSAS

• Knowledge of PowerBI, PowerView, PowerPivot, Report Builder

• Experience with reporting analytics and Business Intelligence capabilities
