Description:

Responsibilities:

Serve as the liaison between the business and IT divisions to oversee the ongoing development, support, maintenance and enhancement of the ERP Workday system and related interfaces. The ERP Analyst provides project coordination, functional expertise, and oversees improvements and enhancements for the ERP Workday system. The ERP Analyst is responsible for serving as the liaison between business and technical resources and departments to manage the development of new system functionality, upgrades, system modifications, and day-to-day problem analysis, issue tracking, and resolution.

 

Expert knowledge of ERP systems for Human Resources and Finance is necessary to be successful in this role. Experience integrating ERP HR and Financial modules with Identity and Access Management solutions as well as other downstream applications is also necessary. An understanding and experience with integrating WorkDay with downstream solutions that leverage WorkDay as the authoritative source of truth for enabling integration capabilities. This includes Identity & Access Management, SSAE16 requirements, LMS Systems, and NERC/CIP evidence automation.

 

Hands-on ERP Analyst with at least one successful system implementation in the past two years with the Workday product. Subject matter expert in all facets of ongoing development, support, maintenance and enhancement of the system and related interfaces. Looking for an energetic, engaged problem solver to development system efficiencies with functional leads through maximizing configuration and minimizing customization. Experience focused on ERP for human resources, procurement, finance, budget and projects, to include interfaced contract/contingent labor and access management systems.

Job Duties

·         The primary duties of this position include business systems analysis, project management, workflow analysis, and technical communication.

·         This position requires an individual whose background combines business operational skills with an understanding of information technology and specific knowledge of the Workday ERP system.

·         This position requires problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical users.

·         This position requires an ability to manage multiple tasks, respond quickly to emergent problems, and to focus both on long-range projects and immediate tasks required to maintain system functionality.

·         Ability to communicate with staff across multiple departments to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and understand specific requirements for system enhancements and fixes.

·         Ability to analyze information/data problems, requested changes, and required modifications to develop appropriate business process solutions.

·         May serve as project coordinator on enterprise-wide ERP projects, including development of the project plan, monitoring and reporting on project progress, and advising managers and stakeholders of potential project delays or resources required to complete the project on time and within budget and scope.

·         Will coordinate and collaborate with functional users and IT staff to find solutions to problems identified in testing, resolve issues during systems upgrades, and ensure that proper testing of all system functionality is completed.

·         Prepare workflow diagrams to specify in detail business processes supported by the ERP.

·         Help develop effective reporting tools needed to support business information requirements.

·         Establish standards, guidelines, security policies and quality assurance for the ERP system.

·         Serves as a Subject Matter Expert providing guidance to lower level workers.

·         May schedule work, train, mentor, and/or coach other employees.

Works on moderately complex issues where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
