The candidate will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Coordinate with the user group, application support team and the system administration team for completing the project.
- Work closely with the project team members (developers, business analysts, vendor consultants and user leads) and put together all the detailed requirements.
- Come with a test strategy and migration plan.
- Get the sign-off from the user groups on the test results.
- Document the project plan with clear responsibilities between the project stake holders.
- Monitor the progress of the tasks and promptly escalate any potential issues.
- Work with the other functional units in the IT department and make sure all the requirements are captured and documented as per the specifications.
- Conduct regular status meetings with all the stake-holders and report on the status, issues and risks of the project tasks.
- Analyze and document dependencies if any.
- Closely monitor the deliverables by the vendor and promptly escalate the issues to Client relationship officer.
Required Skills:
· Candidate should have minimum 8 year experience in IT development environment with 5 years as project manager.
· Experience working in financial applications.
· Experience in implementing COTS products and integration with COTS products.
· PMP certification is highly desirable.
· Excellent written and oral communication.
· Experience recording, tracking and resolving issues.
· Experience in managing teams in on-site and off-shore locations.
· Experience in managing teams from different vendors.
