Role: Architect

C2C

We are seeking a Software Architect to join our Research & Development group.  This position will have a key role on the design and development/automation of a novel new spatial profiling technology, an approach for measuring expression levels of proteins and nucleic acids in a highly multiplexed manner in specific areas of tissues (a new paradigm in Digital Immunohistochemistry).

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of IT architecture models and their lower level components. They are also required to interpret, use and apply information contained within IT architecture to inform a range of business improvement activities, particularly those involved in the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of IT support systems.  The Enterprise Architect is expected to ensure that the overall architecture is maintained in a coherent manner and that appropriate considerations are made for its security and quality. The primary role of the Enterprise Architect is to ensure that the respective business, application, data and technology perspectives are in line with the organization’s technology and governance strategies, policies and standards.

Main qualities needed are to be able to work independently to large extent (so no direct hand holding on a daily basis from the client), ability to work with the client's current architecture plans and expectations fully before coming up with his/her own recommendations etc.

·               Proficiency designing with Microsoft .NET technologies, C# and ASP.NET on Windows and SQL Server.

·               Experience with remote viewing and manipulation of large (1G+) data files. Performance optimization techniques.

·               Understanding of image analysis algorithms and techniques and optimizations (both HW and SW)
