Job Description:

11-15 years of experience as a SME.  Provides assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology. This position will focus on infrastructure upgrades, and Windows engineering.

 

This position serves as a senior Infrastructure  Engineer for the Office of the Attorney general (OAG).  OAG has a hybrid infrastructure of on premise, cloud, and managed service components.  Looking for that has supported windows and server administration including a 365 implementation.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Provides hands on support for the migration to Office365.

2. Support the operation and modernization of OAG VMware ESX infrastructure.

3. Support the operation and modernization of the OAG Citrix Xenapp VDI infrastructure.

4. Acting as tier 3 Windows engineer by setting up and administering system center.

5. Build and test virtual and cloud-based servers.

6.Set up and troubleshoot cloud environments in AWS or Microsoft Azure.

7. Troubleshoot network issues

8. Set up and maintain Azure services such Active directory,

9 Set up sharepoint and Onedrive sites

10. Integrate third party tools into cloud and on premise windows file share environment

11 Act as technical SME for all Office 365 Products

12  Interface with other agencies such as Metropolitan Police department, Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, Office of the Chief Technology officer

13. Serve as technical expert on Antivirus and intrusion detection tools

4. Analyzes information and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for use by professionals.

 

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:

Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience.
