Required Skills - have experience in Cloud formation templates, Nginx and Appdynamics. 

Qualifications: 

·         BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.

·         5+ years’ experience in App Ops/Devops role including hands on large scale production environment.

·         Hands on experience with AWS: Building highly available and scalable AWS stack - VPC, EC2, ELB, IAM, Route53, DynamoDB, ECS, CloudWatch, etc.

·         Hands-on experience in developing cloud formation templates and configuring Autoscaling groups

·         Good understanding and experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment tools (Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeDeploy, Maven)

·         Experience in Configuration Management tools Chef or Puppet

·         Experience in SCM tools (SVN, Git) - Branching Strategy, Merging, Pull Requests etc

·         Strong knowledge in Linux Server administration

·         Experience in Apache, Nginx, Jboss and Tomcat

·         Experience with monitoring and logging tools like AppDynamic, Splunk and Nagios

·         Proficient with at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, Bash)

·         Good Understanding of Networking (TCP/IP, AWS Security Groups, Subnets, VPC, Load Balancers, etc)

·         Highly experienced in troubleshooting production issues related to Application deployment, App/Web Tier, Java applications, DNS, Network

·         Experience with application disaster recovery, application security, migration, roll-back plans, routine deployments and system upgrades

·         Experience in supporting large scale java based production applications.

·         Strong teamwork skills, Fast learning, with excellent written and spoken communication.
