Responsibilities:

Worker will perform highly advanced technical systems analysis work that involves evaluating and documenting future and transition technical strategies. Defines and implements technical architecture standards and solutions. Researches emerging technologies and participates in efforts to review products and architecture solutions. May assist in managing technical project tasks.  Worker should possess knowledge of VMWare, Citrix, Cloud technologies, and virtual desktop infrastructure technologies.

7              Experience developing and participating in planning and evaluating future and transition technical strategies; pro-actively assessing business needs of programs to identify, procure and implement technology solutions to address automation needs.

7              Analyzes and defines business requirements and develops and documents complex software design.

7              Conducts research on emerging technologies and participates in efforts to review products and architectural solutions.

7              Develops, documents, maintains and enforces architecture standards; recommends and participates in activities related to the design, development and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture (EA).

7              Provides technical support; consults with management on estimating, organizing and prioritizing projects; conducts and/or actively participates in meetings related to the designated project/s, both locally and internationally, with clients and/or partners.

5              Experience in computer programming, computer science, data processing, information technology, MIS, system analysis, design and development using Natural, JAVA or other comparable languages, technical  architecture and project leadership.

5              Skill in developing, driving and maintaining strategic and operational governance processes, standards and procedures for users; advises and recommends enterprise architecture strategies, processes and methodologies.

5              Recommends and participates in the analysis, evaluation and development of enterprise long-term strategic and operating plans to ensure that the EA objectives are consistent with the enterprise’s long-term business objectives.

5              Shares best practices, lessons learned and consistently updates the technical system architecture requirements based on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent, current and up-coming vendor products and solutions.

3              Identifies and recommends areas appropriate for further study and participates in any Proof of Concept projects required to thoroughly investigate architectural possibilities and strengthen arguments for their adoption.

3              Identifies implementation risks and analyses potential impact on the enterprise and on the achievement of scheduled objectives.

3              Experience with Cross-Cloud Architecture, VMWare, Citrix, Cloud Technologies and virtual desktop infrastructure.

3              Skill in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy

3              Skill in articulate and effective oral and written communication and consensus building.

3              Skill in exercising sound judgment and effective decision making.

4              Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in computer programming, computer science, data administration, information technology, MIS, system analysis, design and development using JAVA or other comparable languages, technical architecture and leadership. 

3              Experience with VM Ware Horizon Air Cloud Systems

3              Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure migrations

3              Working knowledge and experience with the Texas Child Support program.
