Roles & Responsibilities

·         Able to conduct self-study and independent work to increase knowledge and skills of the team with a willingness to become familiar with new technologies and products

·         Conduct technical investigations to identify alternative options for application or infrastructure technologies that cannot be readily moved into the Cloud

·         Lead engagements to assist customers with their Cloud strategy, for example: creating roadmaps, readiness reviews, feasibility assessments, proof of concept recommendations etc.           

·         Create high-level infrastructure architectures that balance requirements for performance, scalability, security, user experience and cost

·         Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable

Basic Qualifications:

·         MS, or Ph.D in a computer related field; 15+ years in developing high-performance, distributed, “big data” platforms; at least one successful cloud implementation for a large enterprise; expert knowledge of programming languages and application deployment use cases, a “hands-on” attitude with an ability to interact with and lead a diverse team.

·         Relevant technical consulting experience across one or more of the following areas:

o   Cloud Strategy

o   Cloud Brokers

o   Agile Infrastructure - Software Defined Data Center (SDDC)

o   SaaS Implementation

o   Cloud Security

o   Cloud Application Migration

o   IaaS (Hybrid Cloud, Other Cloud Platform)

o   Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google and DevOps
