I am a Senior Software Engineer with over a decade of experience using Microsoft development technologies. I have sound knowledge of the life-cycle, and evolution of, software products. Teleco Inc. is a mid-sized company which provides communication solutions for small businesses to large corporate enterprises. They are national dealers for Toshiba and NEC phone systems and equipment, and provide everything from older key and PBX systems to full blown VOIP and wireless. My projects included:

Core VB6 Developer and SQL Server 2005 Developer
As the core developer, I analyzed and interpreted client requirements for custom installations of our products, including extensive database manipulation and querying. I built stored procedures and views needed by the engineering staff to access to increase performance and security. I designed and implemented Client/Server communications utilizing TCP/IP and Visual Basic for Front/Back end processing. As the Core T-SQL Developer I provided views and queries to provide the information needed by management and clients. Query analysis and database performance tuning. I wrote side tools used by our client named Audio Normalizer which would take recorded voice by any means and convert the analog signal to the correct format and compression used by our products. Project included a user customizable reporting portal via Crystal Reports and code. I process of migration to vb.net prior to company downsizing.
This VB6 project was released and patented as the companies’ flagship product.

Perfect Voice Pinnacle – a Full featured voicemail.

As Core/Lead VB6 Developer and Database installer I converted the voicemail database system from MS-Access to MS SQL 2000 and upgraded to SQL Server 2005 allowing for higher data flow and size. I built custom queries for reporting call/caller usage for client accounting. Key features Implemented: speech recognition, call queuing, fax to email, messages on hold, web-based client, call manager all using VB6 the agile software development model and database data manipulation storing and retrieving specific data.
I designed and developed the GUI using VB6 and VB.NET. Project included a user customizable reporting portal via Crystal Reports and code. Migrated portions of this project to vb.net
