PROVEN ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Created a new database application with a secure web based interface to post all board documents electronically. Worked on all aspects of the System/software Development Life Cycle. Due to the large amount of money and labor that was being spent on production and distribution large quantities on board documents; the decision was made that a new electronic method was necessary. Impact: Managed a team that would support provisioning to application database and handle web content.

Assisted the development of an Identity Access Management System that would control user profile and provision access to various platforms and applications. Performed risk assessments based on security audit findings due to compliance SOX issues. Not enough evidence was available to diagnosis many of the issues that had arisen during the restatement period to comply with requirements. Impact: Saved audit costs and meet the necessary standards set by Sarbanes Oxley.

Developed a web portal that would consolidate specific information that would be used by Board Directors to process daily work. Centralized portal where executive directors could access necessary information and documentation that was required for not only board meetings but for Bank daily activities. Impact: Opened communication channels for users, saved large sums of money on time that was used to analyze various sites for information.

Wrote procedures and training material to solve file transfer failures. After achieving the necessary results of solving the failures users would know with the documentation that was communicated who and how to solve identified problems. Impact: Effective resolution to mainframe and UNIX related ftp failures that would result in a seamless fix without any escalations to senior management and also to outside clients.

Designed the document for the corporate standard to be implemented using an electronic documentation system that was currently being used and also disclose internally and externally via the web. Documentation was being leaked to the press and other sources, to handle this issue documents needed to be disclosed in a timely manner and when necessary not disclosed. The issue was that due to a board decision board documents needed to be disclosed to the public. This needed to be documented so that a procedure could be implemented and communicated to users. After various version of the disclosure document was approved, Impact: Transparent policy that could be communicated to users and senior management.

Researched issues that arose, and managed the necessary changes. Organization needed support on various projects that included mainframe, UNIX, Oracle, Sybase, LDAP and Active Directory. No representation from the Access management team to support various projects. This was mostly due to the limited technical system knowledge that was on the team. Brought skills in system management including server migrations, code migration and communicating and documenting updates and changes to management. Impact: Led part of other ongoing projects within our team and able to save money by utilizing skills across other teams and projects.
