rFrame – Basel II

COBOL Developer r-Frame is a Logica’s banking product used for banks across U.K and Northern Ireland. It’s a Regulatory reporting system for BOE and CBI. Regulatory Reporting System to aid the submission of financial information to the regulator, with a full audit trail or how data is allocated and when the user amends data. The system was originally designed as a standalone application, importing low/medium (10,000/500,000 records) volumes of data, on user request, recent enhancements have made it possible to automate the system to a greater degree but no way near that which is now possible with enhanced rFRAME.
From 2008, financial institutions will be required to monitor and report their capital requirements under new rules, known as Basel II. These rules will be enacted as EU legislation. The rFRAME product set is implementing these rules in the UK and Ireland.
