Worked as a programmer/analyst for the Department of Health and Human Services. Designed, developed, tested and implemented a system called Payment Management System (PMS). The purpose of this system is to provide recipients that are paid through PMS with operative guidance and instructions to insure uniform adherence to applicable federal regulations and DHHS Grant Award terms.

This system also is intended to help recipients understand their responsibilities in expediting payments, completing required reports and controlling federal cash received through PMS. This system was designed as an enhanced version of the Procurement Accounting and Reporting System (PARS). Primary responsibilities included program design, testing and implementation of update programs using Information Management System (IMS) for data updating of accounting files within the system. Participated in generating detailed monthly transaction reports. The purpose of these reports were to provide a listing of all current cycle input transactions used for verification of hardcopy documents to insure accuracy of data.
