Project: Paulsboro and Toledo Historical Data Migration

PBF Energy has acquired the Paulsboro Refining Company from Valero and Toledo Refining Company from Sunoco as a share purchase and has implemented SAP as its core Financials, Procurement and Maintenance backbone for its acquired refineries. This project aims at converting and migrating critical business records that are frequently referenced in the course of day-to-day operations from the productive Valero SAP instance and Sunoco’s Legacy system to the appropriate PBF IT application to include such data as general ledger (encompassing AP sub-ledger, AR sub-ledger, cash/treasury records, payroll records), plant maintenance data, and procurement data.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the historical data objects required for migration and develop a data migration strategy defining the target for historical data based on PBF IT Infrastructure, Valero/Sunoco’s TSA restrictions, and the PBF Business needs
  • Define the data conversion and migration approach including the extract, map, validate, load and reconcile data
