Amada Capital Corporation - is a financial company that makes loans to business for their equipment purchases. They needed a new input screen that would allow them to create a new loan from a single screen. Their in house system requires entry into many different screens with much of the data needing to be entered more than once. I created a Microsoft Access Screen that allows them to create a new loan from a single screen. After the data is entered and validated it is then posted to their SQL Server 2005 database. Later a small loan calculator form was also added. This project was approximately 6 to 8 months.
Commerce Technologies LLC - needed a backup program that could be pre-installed onto a removable drive and perform backups of any system they plugged the drive into. This program was written using VB.Net 2005 and the help file was created using HTML files. Later the ability to download and install from the internet was added. A tray based manager program was also added to monitor the addition and removal of a drive with the backup program on it. When the drive is added it automatically starts up the backup program. Backup scheduling was also added to the manager program. (project is ongoing since 2009)
Sony Pictures Imageworks - the Imageworks division does digital effects for motion pictures. They needed the producers to use a standard program that stored the data into their central Oracle database. This way they could access the progress of any production throughout each stage of the process. There were many tracking programs needed where each one was tailored to the needs of each department. Ms Access was used, as the user interface for each program, including Screens and Reports and Oracle as the backend database. Help files were created using HTML files that could be posted to their intranet web site and also turned into an HTML Help file. Here is a list of the main programs created: Digital Grouping, Offline Camera Data, Editorial Tracking, Motion Capture, Storyboarding, and Production Tracking. Various projects each lasting from 6 Months to a Year.
Click Consulting - needed a large number of modifications to their existing Member Tracking database. This application is written using MS Access with Pivot Table Reports and Charts in Excel This project lasted 3 to 4 months.
CESNW, Inc - a civil engineering company that had an old DOS program written in Pascal. They needed it converted to Visual Basic with some enhancements, like the ability to print to a Windows printer. They also needed the data that was calculated to be charted, which I did using MS Graph inside VB6 and also allowed them to export the data and chart into Excel. This project lasted 3 months.

ABG is a printing company. I ran their Data Processing Department, including the operations staff. Their main system was an HP3000 mini computer which ran customized software for the printing business. This software included programs for running their entire operation. It handled all of their accounting including payroll as well as manufacturing, inventory, ordering, shipping, etc.
I also created many programs using Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, Excel, and other programs to facilitate customized reporting and data handling for the company and their customers. This data was used to print various documents like flyers, form letters, phone books, etc.
There were also custom programs used for processing EDI ANSIx12 documents, Electronic ordering, web based ordering, and Sales tools like the commissions calculator, or electronic sales entry.
