Reviews, prepares and submits Officer Evaluation Reports (OER) and Non Commissioned Reports (NCOER) for Reserve Component personnel TPU and AGR Soldiers. Maintains unit’s rating scheme. Actively participates in team building activities including decision making, team problem solving and development. Utilize the Army Training Requirements and Resource System (ATRRS) to request and obtain quotas at Army service and area schools for unit personnel, to include civilians and AGR Soldiers. Exercises persuasion and skill to explain and justify changes in programs in terms of benefits derived. Counsels and advises key personnel of the command and other Reservists on the benefits of the Army Reserve Program, career planning, promotion opportunities, military education and training and related subjects. Reviews all pay reports (Military Master Pay Report, Mismatch Report, Unit Commander’s Pay Report and Bonus Report) to ensure Soldiers are receiving their correct entitlements. Assist Soldiers with pay inquiries to include collections, back pay and incurred debts by researching USARC 37-1 and corresponding with the finance team. Assist TPU personnel with exception to policies and NCOER appeals. Prepare travel orders to individuals and also submit travel vouchers upon completion of duty. Provides guidance and assistance such as preparation and maintenance of personnel records; medical programs and services (i.e, scheduling physicals, dental procedures, eye exams through AVS); information activities and legal services as needed.
