  • Confidential is a self-managed Property Owners Association (HOA/POA) located in East Houston/Channelview, Texas comprising of over 2,200 homes. The association was formed in the 1970's. As a member of a non-profit organization, Confidential am bound by state and federal law to fulfill a fiduciary duty while serving the interest of more than 2,200 property owners. Confidential was elected to the volunteer board of directors with a vote of 264 votes to the incumbent President with 51 votes in an election which normally garners not more than 50 ballots annually. As of March 2013, the project has been handed off to an offshore team utilizing my design for phase one development. Today, the LitCap Marketplace is online giving attorneys access to Capital to fund litigation case costs. LitCap gives attorneys the flexibility to expand their business without Capital Constraints. Using the LitCap Marketplace facilitates better case preparation, higher caliber experts, more elaborate demonstratives, and levels the playing field between plaintiffs and better financed foes.

The application allows engineers and sales team members to coordinate and design of highly technical pipelines utilized in the petroleum/oil and gas fields using web-based tools to define parameters of the design and look at the cause and effect of those variables about fluid flow, heat transfer and insulation processes.
  • Additionally, on this project Confidential contributed as the SQL Database Architect/Developer writing and implementing SQL Server 2010 based Stored Procedures, Triggers along with Table Re-Design to complete Referential Integrity while Managing Budget Constraints and Expectations from Stakeholders and Customers Simultaneously. Additionally, due to a limitation in using .NET’s built in ORM tools; we were forced to use an alternative CRUD/ORM mapping process. Confidential turned to the CodeIgniter MVC/PHP Framework to generate CRUD functionality, (pseudo ORM scaffold) by building SQL Stored Procedures which would be executed using T-SQL when structures in the database were altered.

  • Technical Lead and Architect for several projects based at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center where again Confidential was in the leadership role developing NIH funded grant projects, except this time through the SBIR and STTR for domestic small business concerns to engage in Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) that has the potential for commercialization. The primary role was one for the development of RIMS (Radiant Intervention Management System) to build an intervention using Open Source Technologies which are reusable by other research needing a web-based platform to perform behavioral modification via web technologies. All projects involved the use of Agile/SCRUM methodologies using Version One. Development of documentation was done using Entity Relationship (Erwin) Diagrams, Wireframing Tools and UML tools found in Axure and Smart Draw. Additional minor projects include a CodeIgniter, MVC based, redactor to scan PDF’s of Medical School Applications and convert them to Text based files. Once converted, we then performed automatic redaction using CodeIgniter for the User Experience and PREG (PHP Regular Expression matching) to submit the redaction to the research community at Confidential in Houston, Texas.
  • The second project included the s Nomination Committee toolsets for the Women’s Faculty Program which allowed staff s to be tracked and followed from nominations to eventual process using the CodeIgniter MVC. All work performed herein was delivered right at or under budgets and scope creep mitigated through communication with the customer to trade out features for features that were unrealized at the inception of a project.

Kinetic Energy was licensed as a Retail Electricity Provider (REP) under the Public Utility Commission of the State of Texas. The role was to set the standards in development along with overhaul and build all aspects of the Open Source Web Application from the Front-End User Experience to Middleware API’s connections to a Sybase database back end using the Symfony Model View Controller operating on a Linux platform in a Rapid Application Development Methodology. The role required experience in e-Commerce using Authorize.net, connections to Confidential for
  • Credit Worthiness review, hosting platform management on a combination of Linux servers running Apache for REST as well as email and Windows running VMware virtualized operating systems. The role was one of front end management as well as back end management performing duties independently where usually a team of three to five programmers worked to meet the goals of the project. Additionally, Confidential implemented Drupal’s Content Management Framework (CMF/CMS) to allow the non-technical staff management of web content without requiring a technical background. The web application Met and Exceeded all Public Utility Commission rules set forth for Retail Electricity Providers from Signup to Paying Bills online along with the Regulatory creation of Energy Facts Labels (EFL’s), Terms of Service Agreements (TOS) and Customer Rights documents.
