Project 1: Performance Testing for Major HR/Payroll Applications
Description: Worked with the Centralized Performance Testing Team. We worked on a lot of HR/ Payroll Applications within Verizon including MyVzWeb, About You, Employee Self Service, VzCareers, Workbrain ,eDirectory, ePerformance, W2, W4 etc., along with Project North Applications
Environment: Worked on tuning java, .net, SAP, PS, ERP applications, Webservices on both Windows NT/XP and Unix envronment within Verizon

Objectives:

a) Load/Stress Testing

c) Performance Tuning

Description: This is a commercial product, integrated with any Intranet, It comprises of three major modules: Receiving and storing the suggestions, Elevation of Suggestions, Award System
The suggestions are received through a redefined HTML page and stored in the Oracle Database. Depending on the Area on which the suggestion is received, it is sent through an email to the respective Head of the Departments for proper action. If any action is taken on a particular suggestion, intimation is send to the sender via email. Best suggestion Awards are given every month and a "Suggest of the Year" is given depending on the effectiveness and importance of the suggestion, which will be measured on different parameters.
