Description:
MySmartShop is the Zero-stock maintained products e-commerce business application. Developed a web application for touch screens that is deployed in 200+ tomcat servers located at different geographical locations. Everything shown in the touch screen. Includes modules like Apparel, Furniture, Luggage and Electronic goods, etc. Each module has a separate category and each category contains sub-categories and leaf sub-categories contain products. Each product contains filters and filter attributes values. Developed generating invoice and billing system.
Challenges include replicating the database across all the servers and maintain consistency in data and inventory.

Roles and Responsibilities

Involved in User Interface for adding Categories, Products, Filters and Filter attribute values, etc. into database.
Developed authentications for login and change password.
Developed authorizations for User read from xml file.
Developed code for bulk upload operations read from Excel sheet.
Developed admin console application.
Developing plugins using jQuery 1.5 for filters, pagination.
Involved in bug fixing.
