The Global Market business is divided into several areas to categorize the various trading / investment structures within the bank such as, Credit , Rates , Foreign Exchange , etc. For every trade / investment, a multitude of products are booked via four mainly trade capture systems, which are linked into downstream applications for valuation, settlement, risk reporting, PnL calculations, etc.

Validates request for new book and counterparty ID details from the forms submitted by the Business Area Controllers to ensure accuracy of mapping and system requirement of each product.
Performs actual set up of books from Trade Capture Systems such as Reuters Kondor Plus , Autobahn, Bloomberg , Magellan, Risk Management System and Summit , down to its valuation system like Alice , settlement system like Wall street / Everest Plus , risk reporting tool like Concentrix , and PnL calculation engine like dbSCORE.
Works closely with the Datawarehouse (DWH) team to ensure mapping of profit centers as required for the book opening request.
Daily reconciliation of static data between Trade Capture and dbNexus systems to ensure appropriate settlement of trades.
Generates monthly Book Completeness Reports to identify trades that do not undergo its complete cycle, as required for SOX compliance.
Provides resolution to FOBO breaks, settlement issues and others that are related to book static data.

Knowledge of Capital Market Infrastructure in India, Europe, New Zealand & Russia.
Knowledge of business processes in Capital Market Infrastructure Entities.
Reference Data Management.
Product Knowledge: Golden source.
