Regulation Z is Retail Banking Application that has specific disclosure requirements for certain types of fees, which are designated as Transaction Fee Finance Charges. The Reg Z solution is to route all US issued (Consumer, Corporate, and Prepaid) through GC&S to ensure a consistent Foreign Exchange Conversion Factor (FXCF) is applied. Regulation Z changes will create a situation where by all US foreign transaction submissions will have a Transaction ID (TID) in the Issuer systems as they will pass through Global Clearing and Settlement and makes sure billing is made for the transaction; however, even though a TID is present for Fixed Income and Investment Banking applications, the submission is not a POA submission and does not contain the necessary data required in the AP platforms to work with ECM (Enterprise content Management).
