  • Gathering requirements for implementing any new trading partner in Confidential systems. This involves gathering the format requirements of the healthcare EDI transaction like 837, 835 etc. This stage also involves gathering requirements for the state reporting requirements for the customers. The formats were not limited to EDI(837,824,999, 997, 835 etc) but XML, NCPDP, fixed length and delimited file formats as well.
  • Preparing Business requirements document that will list of trading partner needs and the requirements that will need to be implemented to make the client file formats compatible with Confidential systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Developed GXS maps for EDI transactions such as 850,856,855,832 and 810
  • Performed GXS profile Quality Control (QC) Admin over a period of time. This includes importing the Trading Partner information in the development TradeGuide & creating Enterprise mailboxes, relationships & managing support users. I worked on the automation process of Quality Control by developing a couple of UNIX, AWK, PERL scripts. The ultimate consequence was efforts reduction of 40% for the QC admin & the other team members.
  • Responsible for coordinating the catalogs that were generated on a daily/weekly/monthly. This is the most sensitive part of the work where Customers would get to know the pricing for the items they are to order for that day. I have been the Quality check for this sensitive process and have done a successful co-ordination of this process.
