Responsibilities:
- Activities include reviewing requirements documents and working with development teams to create detailed test cases. Confidential operates on a bi-monthly software release schedule, so testing activities occur during a short window. Many test activities take place during these short timeframes and include, reading requirements, develop detailed test plan, and to write test scripts that are captured in HP Quality Center. Once code is delivered to test, script execution and defect resolution become the primary test activities. Serena Business Manager is used to track code changes and the migration between environments. The goal is to do the best possible job to deliver quality software to production with a minimal number of defects.
SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER

Responsibilities:
- Activities include managing offshore testers in India, overseeing testing activities, gathering test metrics, overseeing the collection of testing Level of Efforts (LOEs) and acting as a release manager controlling Agile application software released to system test. Duties include managing a team of 30 testers, supervising their testing activities, helping with test issues when needed and approving weekly timesheets for accuracy. Also gather and report testing metrics such as number and severity of defects encountered and the level of testing conducted as the release progresses. This data is used to monitor, evaluate, and when possible improve testing activities.
MANAGER

Responsibilities:
- Manager over various development, system test, environmental, and production support teams located in the Activities ranged from working with clients and developers to drive detailed requirements to budgeting, time tracking, quality control and most importantly delivering quality software to meet the needs of the customer. During a development cycle that would require approximately three months to complete, I would work to manage the timelines that the teams needed to complete their duties. As an example, the development team would have a month and a half to complete software changes and hand off to system test, which would require a month, to ensure client functionality and software quality.
- Once the software completed system testing and the client signed off on the software, it would be released into production. After released to production, I would coordinate with the teams to perform problem management and implementation when software updates were required. In addition, as project manager, I was responsible for coordinating the software installs with the production support team responsible for actual installs of the software and maintaining system availability.
CAPACITY PLANNER
