MVS TCP/IP: Strong experience with installation, customization, and troubleshooting of IBM MVS TCP/IP. This includes setup of the basic TCP/IP address space, server address spaces, IP routing, and network connectivity through OSA adapters, Cisco CIP router interfaces, and 3172 ICU’s. Strong skills in analysis of packet traces.
ACF/VTAM: In-depth knowledge of all aspects of installation and customization of VTAM. This includes planning, network definition, APPN, VTAM tables (MODE, LOGON, and USS), route specifications, and user exits. Very strong problem determination skills including analysis of VTAM/GTF traces.
NETVIEW: Installation of Netview. Customization including CLISTS, and message automation.
IBM AIX: Working knowledge with support of AIX. Especially strong in TCP/IP networking, use of the AIX queue system, and setup and maintenance of Nameservice on an AIX system. Familiar with use of SMIT. Extensive C-Shell scripting to support installation of an inventory system.
Tivoli STORAGE MANAGER: Installation, configuration, and support for the TIVSM backup server.
DEC/VMS: Experience with setup and customization of system, installation of software (ECO) patches, installation of third party software, and Multinet TCP/IP setup and customization.
