PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Confidential, Appleton, Wisconsin
Power Electronic Intern
Responsibilities:
- Designed input and output edge wound inductor using Finite Element Magnetics Method software. This helped to know the approximate inductance value without actually building the inductor hardware.
- Designed an IGBT tester using ORCAD Software which can test different IGBT packages. Even replaced the silicon diode with silicon carbide diode (SiC) in IGBT tester and observed the switching losses of IGBT at different operating conditions.

Research Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Ultrasonic cleaner: Designed MOSFET based ultrasonic cleaner. Used ALTIUM and ORcad for (Surface Mount Device) type PCB designing to minimise the chip dimensions.
- 3 Phase Bi-Directional Grid Tie Converter: Simulated 3 Phase Bi-directional Grid tie (Inverter+Converter) using MATLAB-Simulink to transfer excess power into the grid/battery.

Electronic Trainee Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS): Designed and Hardware Implementation of 80 Watt SMPS to convert AC input to multiple DC outputs, using Fly back Converter topology, the output voltages were 5V-12V. Also simulated using MATLAB-Simulink. It can be used in automobile industry as car audio and battery charging.
- PLC Programming: Implemented PLC code (Ladder Diagrams) for Bar Feeder and Pick and Place using Codesys tool.
