Installation of a completely new Backhaul Alternative, using Fiber and Ericsson Mini Link configurations previously only used in European Markets. Giving major Carriers in the Richmond and Norfolk Virginia markets an alternative to existing Backhaul systems. That resulted in savings up to 45% on circuit cost. This included T1 and Ethernet options. This system was built out to 50% within 11 months. I was the Operations Manager for Norfolk VA. When the system went EBITA Positive within 14 months. This helped TTM to receive additional funding to continue to grow. This project required some outside the box ideas and team building to complete.

And staying in compliance with the College of William and Mary’s judicial board. For the two sites on their campus.

Responsibilities:
- Local Construction Manager for Crown Castle. Up Grade the IDAS and Confidential sites in Colonial Williamsburg. For Confidential and Confidential &T. As per engineering designs. This project was to upgrade the existing configuration from passive to an active configuration. And to ensure all work was completed per the SOWs and accurately PIM Tested. This was then cut over by the Crown Castle RF and integration team.
- I was part of the review the SOW Confidential the site. To ensure scoping is up to date. And accurate information is available to all parties. To ensure all the materials and work to be performed is included in any bid. For the end client. This reduces any surprise Change orders and schedule delays. Due to inaccurate scoping. The Program manager and PM arranged, and conducted the initial site walks. And also conducted needed additional bid walks with the GCs bidding on this project. To ensure all SOWs and Construction drawings were covered.
- Go over all Construction Documents with the General contractors and PM, during the bid walks. Ensure that the GC has a firm grasp on the work to be performed. To reduce the need for Change Orders, or Schedule delays. Ensure that any special equipment needed is included, and cost obligations for the equipment is put in writing and included in the final bid proposal. To be approved by the project manager. Along with engineering, RF and the PM. Project to be separated out for site builds, electrical and fiber optical work.
- I work with the GC during the construction phase. Making frequent site visits to ensure, Crown procedures for installation and safety are being followed. Go over any issues that were discovered during the site build. Work with the GC to provide the PM with pictures of the issue. And resolution ideas. So the PM has the needed information, to produce or approve a resolution. In a timely manner.
- If the project is not a Crown Castle owned property, I work with the landlord to ensure all access, or any other issues are resolved. And represent Crown Castle while on site. I also am responsible to report all work done on site to the CCI SCN NOCC. And open and close tickets as needed during the project. Regardless of site ownership.
- Produce a daily and weekly report to the PM and the Program Manager, on a regular basis. During the project. And insure if any alarms are present, that they are reported, and if possible resolved. And make sure Operations is aware of any work to be performed on any site.

FIELD CONSTRUCTION MANAGER FOR

- Manage GCs for assigned sites, for adding the Ericsson 6601 LTE buildout for Confidential &T in the Norfolk VA. And the Outer Confidential in Currituck and Dare counties,
- Conduct pre construction walks with all contractors. For tower and civil portions of my assigned sites.
- Review all RFDS sheets and CDs with the installation crews per site. Inventory all issued equipment. And confirmed that the Notice to proceed was completed for the carrier and the site owner.
- Supervised all phases of construction, during site visits. Ensured that all daily safety meeting were completed and signed by all workers that were on site for the day. Made sure that all daily field reports from the crews Confidential each site were turned in as required. And that all tower climbers had the proper s on file either on site or Confidential their home office. I also conducted safety equipment checks. To insure all the required gear was on site. And if applicable all gear had up to date calibration s.

- I managed the tower and civil crew’s progress, by conducting in progress site inspections Confidential each build. To insure CDs and RFDS are being followed. And go over any items that would result in having to Redline existing CDs, after getting approval by the Carrier by submitting the changes needed.
- Resolve and report any change orders or part shortages that would arise. This was reduced by 50% from the initial start of the project. By regulating the start of a site construction, by not issuing any NTPs unless the site had Confidential least 90% of all materials.
- Inspect all work prior to final inspection walk by Confidential &T for site acceptance. Go over completed sites with the installation crews to reduce any final punch list items. By inspecting site with the crew with a checklist developed in house Confidential Velocitel. Then conduct final LTE site acceptance walks with Confidential &T. This reduced the punch items that had to be corrected by 60%

OPERATIONS MANAGER NORFOLK VA / FILED SUPERVISOR
Responsibilities:
- I was a major part of the installation and turn up of Fiber hubs to Ericsson 6P and 20P TN to 158 sites in Norfolk/Hampton Virginia Area.
- The Norfolk market went EBITA positive in 14 months. Resulting in an additional round of funding. To allow TTM to continue to grow during the early phases of the market build outs.
- I scheduled and assigned technicians for site visits to verify existing site equipment against site CDs prior to any equipment being pulled from inventory for a site build, to reduce any unneeded equipment ordered for the site.
- I was a major part of the development of the distribution of site materials to Field technicians, from our central warehouse to the cell sites. I was part of the team that started the pre cabinet assembly. That was implemented to build each cabinet that was site specific. In the warehouse, then shipped to the site. This reduced the site build time by over 50%. The process was developed in The Norfolk and Richmond markets, and then implemented company wide.
- I was the main Interface with Project Management and engineering, to provide each customer updates on a daily basis for site progress reports. For the Norfolk market.
- I assigned the TTM and the General contractor personnel for installation of all Fiber optic and copper cable runs from TTM site equipment, to inside shelter DMARC.
- Testing of circuits prior to delivery of all T1 and Ethernet circuits from customer DMARC to customer CO.
- I was part of the resolution for all dish field alignments and checking azimuths and mechanical and electrical down tilts for each microwave path. I worked with TTM engineers to help select and procure path alignment test sets. We then provided from the manufacturer. To both our general contractors and tower crews. This reduce alignment time form Confidential times days down to about 1.5 hours. This saved TTM thousands of dollars per alignment. This was an early major issue that had to be resolved if TTM was going to be able to continue build outs in all markets.

- I was one of 4 technicians selected for the US Customs and US Border Patrol communications upgrade, this consisted of setting up 3 identical test rigs. To test over 5000 new mobile radio packages. The project was scheduled as an 18 month time frame. We were able to complete the project in 8 months. And we were able to reduce out of the box failures from 11% to less than 2%.
