Responsibilities:

• Brought on a contract resource for assistance with the site closing at the end of September. Responsible for creating and executing a project plan for aligning, preparing and staging the server environment for shipping to its new home and final destination. The planning phase involved taking an inventory of server both physical and virtual, determining what site they would be relocated at and scheduling a maintenance window for performing the move if need with the business owner. Two new VMware virtual environments need to be built out and this included a vCenter Server and ESXi hosts. Migration planning was centered around the storage arrays of which two where on the same Fabric and one was not.
