Worked on the data warehouse modeling and various dimension conformance needs.
  • The task was mapped to the Informatica workflow, while the DAC provided the synchronization capabilities of the metadata between the DAC repository and the Informatica repository since the data access for the source tables and target tables of the Informatica workflow can be loaded into the DAC repository for use in the incremental loading, as well as bulk loadingof the data warehouse. Wrote a migration and test plan for upgrading the IDW to Oracle 10g and defined how a fact table and a dimension table are joined in OBIEE. Used Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) to take advantage of the enhanced capabilities of MOLAP data relations for the development of Oracle cubes and dimensions based on the Star schema versus the ordinary ROLAP.
  • Used both “top-down” and “bottom-up” methodologies to provide architectural design and development of interactive dashboard capabilities based on multidimensional objects such as dimensions and slowly changing dimensions, hierarchies, measures and complex calculations that reside in Analytic Workspaces. The Analytic Workspaces are in turn administered by the Analytic Workspace Manager (AWM). Configured the Oracle system global area (SGA) as well as memory structures affecting the size of the Oracle user's private global area (PGA) in order to conform to the best practices of not letting the SGA get larger than two-thirds the size of the server’s physical RAM, thereby making sure the virtual memory is able to accommodate both the SGA and all the requirements of all the active processes on the client’s server.
  • As part of implementing overall Oracle Fusion Middleware 10g, integrated several components of E-Business suite with the SOA environment to enable theFBI field agents with mobile browser based OAAM access via the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) to provide different management levels performance forfull ad hoc queries, quick drill downs, proactive intelligence and alerts, roll-ups, enterprise and financial reporting, real-time predictive business intelligence and disconnected analytics, of the applicable data sets pertaining to their compartmentalized responsibilities and agents’ information department wide.

  • Used the Oracle BI-Publisher to create and develop highly formatted templates, reports, and documents such as government forms and agents’ reports in a most efficient, most scalable reporting solution available for complex and distributed SOA environments. It provides a central SOA architecture using ESB for generating and delivering information to employees, managers and other department heads, securely and in the right formats that the users were already familiar with; such tools as Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat for report layouts. Along with reporting capabilities, I wrote XML scripts to integrate Oracle Disconnected Analytics using Siebel Analytics 7.x for full capabilities and intuitive interfaces analytical functionality for the mobile agents, enabling interactive dashboards and ad hoc analysis to be done on a laptop computer while disconnected from the corporate network in offline mode. Then these disconnected and/or remote agent users can work with their personalized data and maintain all role-based security with intelligent synchronization of relevant data, analytic metadata, dashboards, and all saved selections occurs once a user reconnects to the enterprise network.
  • Designed and developed advanced Web-UI with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) making sure that each UI starts with the basic 'show' render mode required of every UI to restrict some users to certain UI instances based on clients’ security policies. I designed and developed advanced UI making sure that each UI starts with the basic 'show' render mode required of every UI to restrict some users to certain UI instances based on clients’ security policies.
