EXPERIENCE

I have 15 years of experience working as MVS & JES2 independent operator on ES processor running MVS/ESA 4.2 operating system, and on S/390 9672 - R22 processor running OS/390 V1.2, and from recently running Z OS. I am responsible for activating system, this means, starting up the system including power-on reset, partition activation and initial program load of the operating system software, starting JES2, VTAM, DB2, CICS and so on, and for reactivating system, that is,stopping CICS, DB2, VTAM, JES2, operating system and system resources. .

My duties also include monitoring system console and responding on the immediate action messages and on other messages that await operator response, reconfiguring channels between partitions, bringing devices online or offline, mounting tapes (3490 and 3590 tape subsystems) and working with printers (6262 model 014 and 6262 model 022).

Besides these activities I am also involved in preparing and submitting batch jobs that invoke PL/i, COBOL, VisualBasic or VisualAge generated programs working with DB2. I attended the course with course code IBM ES29U here in Belgrade and I have a

certificate.

Also,I have experience working with TCP/IP protocols and I can compile programs working with DB2.
