- Over 30 years as a Senior Mainframe Programmer, developing and modifying applications, performing tests in a test and model environment in preparation for moving programs/JCL/transactions to production using Endevor and Panvalet. Very experienced in all phases of the product development lifecycle, performing unit, system, and regression testing on a regular basis.

Professional Experience:
Cerro Wire, Crothersville, Indiana Contract as Senior Systems Engineer 2014-present I have fulfilled the 6 month contract at my present employer. They will not be retaining their current hardware an HP 3000 minicomputer . Thus my availability can be at any time.
- Since in the 1980's I had worked with an HP 3000 at Kentucky Lithographing and Printers Encoders, and in the 1990's for Harland Clarke, I have been able to meet their needs here. At Cerro Wire, I have worked with HP 3000 tools, databases, and sending reports via email, using the product byREQUEST.
- KentuckyOne Health, Louisville, Kentucky Contract as Senior Systems Engineer Was at this position as Senior Analyst until 6/30/2014. I describe this position in greater detail in my cover letter. Provided support to senior management and hospital administrative support staff utilizing ADHOC tools for the Siemens Invision IBM mainframe system. Also provided JCL, IBM utilities, and COBOL programming expertise to develop the needed reports for management.
- Primary projects have included: a . development of a report to help identify revenue for all hospitals that would otherwise be written off. b . reformatted dietary reports for Frazier Hospital Dietitians so that these daily reports were more readable, safer, and more useful. c . created a 777 report that runs automatically every Saturday. This run, combined with the report described in a above, causes accounts that would otherwise hang in the system and be written off to be moved on and billed in the system. d . created the Revenue Usage report for Frazier, Southern Indiana Rehab, and Shelbyville.
Senior Systems Engineer
- Was at this position for many years did all mainframe programming in z/OS390 using the tools described above COBOL/CICS/EGL/ISPF/TSO/SDSF/JCL/ENDEVOR/SQL/DB2/VSAM/IBM Utilities/Lotus Notes was the primary systems programmer for the Jeffersonville, IN, plant in the metropolitan Louisville, KY, area, where I now reside . Maintained all code for Harland Clarke's Forms System plants of which Jeffersonville was the primary location . Any important change or addition had to pass through me. Even though about 12 years ago two other programmers were added to the Forms team they were located in San Antonio, TX , I still remained as the primary programmer for all Forms' systems.

- One very important project I completed was the development of a very sophisticated Forms Intouch System, based on the Clarke Check Intouch system, but which did radical changes to incorporate the Forms' system as input to this new technology method. This enabled the Jeffersonville, IN, Forms plant to use large, expensive Xerox laser printing systems, transferred from other plants. The main program of this system has about 40,000 lines of COBOL code, indicating the complexity of the task.
- Completed another very complex project, allowing records received in GDG transmissions and initially intended for a sister company's non-IBM machine to be properly edited, rejected with feedback files returned , or accepted and automatically input into the IBM Harland Clarke Forms system for production, shipping, delivery, and billing as if they had been entered locally .
