- Responsible for the design and installation of computer systems to support the implementation of an entirely new billing system. Designed a highly-available and scalable environment using Oracle's RAC technology and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Fourteen servers are used in an Oracle Grid to provide maximum availability and performance. These systems have been running in production since January 21st, 2005 and have never had unscheduled downtime. - Developed a custom CRM solution for the company's sales force. CARE Customer Acquisition and Retention Enterprise is a CGI based application that stores data in an Oracle database. The entire sales process is tracked in this application from the identification of potential new business to the signing of contracts. The system also provides automated work flow and performance trend reports to management to improve the overall sales process.
- Identified a need for an HR forms solution for the company. The company has a high turnover rate at it's 30 service centers due to the nature of it's business. Designed, programmed, and implemented a CGI application that allows new hires to input key employment information via a web browser. The application then generates the new hire packet in PDF format. That packet is e-mailed to the office manager at the new employee's location. This application cut processing of new employees from over 3 hours to less than 30 minutes.
