  • Participate in a team to maintain & support multiple oracle databases and applications in high availability (24 X 7) heterogeneous environment.
  • Handle day-to-day DBA activities using Oracle utilities and tools, monitoring space and memory requirements. Checking Alert Logs, Archive Logs, Trace files, backup verifications & Health checkups of database.
  • Maintenance of concurrent processing requests and concurrent managers.
  • Interact with the functional team; define responsibilities, menus, request groups, users.
  • Handle multi tier architecture: Desktop tier, Application tier (Web server, Form server, Concurrent processing server and Administration server) and Database tier.
  • Use different Oracle Applications tools like Adadmin, Adctrl, Adpatch etc., for maintaining database and applications
  • Applying latest releases of the application patches from Oracle on Production and test instance to resolve application issues.
