Its 15 members of DBA team supporting around 601 oracle instances on all platforms.

Responsibilities

• The environment is 234 servers and around 601 database instances on UNIX and Windows platforms
• Managing 53 instances on Oracle 8i,9i and 10g with ASM/RAC environment databases on Sun Solaris, HP-UX and Linux
• Managing database sizes lower as 50gb to higher as approx 600gb
• Installation and Configuration of Oracle 10g Real Application Clusters (RAC) on 2 & 4 nodes with Automatic Storage Management
• Providing 7x24 support and on-call support with pager
• Managing Oracle9i and 10g server with Real Application Cluster environment with Standby DataGuard on HP-UX and Solaris
• Handling day-to-day activities on 8i, 9i and 10g servers
