BI Solution Architect / Developer (contract)
Glenridge Solutions, LLC is a consulting company that has created a drop-in solution to address Business Intelligence challenges for Peoplesoft ERP installations. Their product, BIMarts, provides a comprehensive data management solution that provides the end user with the tools to easily develop their data warehouse and data marts to suit their business needs. Provided direct BI solution architecture design and PL/SQL development to redesign and develop the next generation of this product. Rearchitected underlying data flow process to move away from Oracle’s Change Data Capture mechanism to use a more streamlined process using strictly PL/SQL. Designed and implemented all PL/SQL routines to prepare, stage, and move data from Peoplesoft into an operational data store (ODS). Data is then mapped to a customer-specific data mart structure using end-user defined metadata. PL/SQL routines dynamically extract, transform, and load (ETL) all data into the data marts based on this pre-defined metadata. All data movement processes preserve data element timestamping to allow snapshot reporting of data for any historical point-in-time. Product is successfully deployed to multiple clients, primarily higher education institutions with large Peoplesoft Financials and Student Administration modules.
