As an Oracle middleware engineer, you solve complex, multi - disciplinary engineering challenges using your engineering expertise.
You will design highly secured and complex systems to meet infrastructure requirements while playing a hands-on design to deliver key technology solutions, specifically in the context of enterprise application implementations.
Lead challenging and fast paced projects supporting our client’s business from a technology perspective, ensuring Security, HA and Scalability for the platform with new technologies, industry accepted best practices and standards.
Create complex engineering infrastructure design packages then build and deploy those solutions.
You will partner with Oracle eBS architects and Oracle DB architects to define the middleware and web tiers of the architecture.
You are equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

Design, architect, and build Oracle Fusion based applications and databases from business requirements through planning and deploying test and production systems.
Perform operational SOA Administration and DBA duties. These will include: installation, database upgrades, patching, environment cloning, implementing backup/recovery and monitoring procedures, capacity planning, site failover/switchover.
Interface with clients, network, hardware and system operations teams to resolve problems with application/database systems.
Design, implement, and maintain integration with our client’s technologies.
Be part of a production support 24x7 rotation.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Stronghands on experience with Oracle Fusion and Oracle RAC database administration, installation, configuration, performance tuning, patching, cloning, troubleshooting, and customization.
Stronghands on experience with most of the following B2B, BPEL, BAM, AIA, OSR components of Oracle SOA Suite.
Stronghands on experience with WebLogic Administration, monitoring, performance tuning, patching, failover, cloning and troubleshooting.
Proficient working with UNIX/Linux platforms with concrete knowledge of system administration/internals and networking.
Demonstrated ability in one of the following: UNIX/Linux shell scripting, Perl, Python, C/C++, Java.
