This included a wide-range of situations from personnel recalled to active duty for extended periods of time in support of ongoing operations to maintaining a continuous flow of reservists on their two weeks of annual training to man other operations on a year-round basis. • Developed a management database using Microsoft Access for ensuring all aspects of the process were scheduled and completed without error and ensuring that accurate reporting of all reserve activity in the theater was maintained.
• Ensured a continuous flow of Naval Reservists from the U.S. And Europe for all operations including those in Bosnia, Albania, and Africa. Expanded the use of reservists in the Mediterranean theater by over 100 by aggressively recruiting individuals and entire units to work in support of the command's mission. Suggested design modifications and performance specification changes to this technically complex engineering proposal which ensured the proper integration of communications link capabilities between a variety of platforms and, at the same time, emphasized the use of existing hardware and software. Performed cost/benefit analysis and advised the engineering managers, the project manager and
• the program sponsor and others on the feasibility and wisdom of proposed changes. These suggestions were incorporated into the contract and were estimated to save hundreds of thousands of dollars and expand future system capabilities.

Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command Headquarters,

• Established and coordinated a 12 person foundation working group of technical experts to ensure a cost effective integration process for the Mission Computer Upgrade of the E-2C Hawkeye aircraft through the incorporation of existing hardware and software.
• Surveyed actual and potential Joint Tactical Information Data System JTIDS users for their long range communications requirements. These included a number of potential applications of the system which had not been previously offered to the respective communities. After correlation of the data, developed a plan to coordinate warfare communities' efforts to get project funding.
