A Group of British Telecom (Project Manager) which support Britsh Telecom with delivery service for the cable infrastructure in their exchanges and network communication rooms on customer sites.
INSO support the man power in technical programming of network equipment like Routers and switches of BT customer sites:

  • Managing Migration IPT sites of Confidential Internet telephony refers to communications services — voice, facsimile, and/or voice-messaging applications — that are transported via the Internet, rather than the public switched telephone network (PSTN). The basic steps involved in originating an Internet telephone call are conversion of the analog voice signal to digital format and compression/translation of the signal into Internet protocol (IP) packets for transmission over the Internet; the process is reversed at the receiving end.

I am responsible for the coordination of the technical requirements and the data and features of the current customers analogue phone systems. I also oversee the design and configuration of the Cisco Call Manager.
Cisco CallManager (CCM), is a software-based call-processing system developed by Confidential
In addition I direct the technicians and schedule the different steps of the project. I do problem solving and I coordinate work schedules and the delivery of the materials.
I am the main contact on site for the customer in case of issues and escalations. I have to take them and address the issues for solving to the responsible people in my installation team.

  • Installing and Maintaining Confidential sites

Confidential is a mechanism in high-performance telecommunications networks which directs and carries data from one network node to the next. MPLS makes it easy to create "virtual links" between distant nodes. It can encapsulate packets of various network protocols. I have to plan the physically requirements for the Installations. The responsible equipment, called the Routers and Switches, are managing the transfer between the customer nodes and has to be placed in special prepared communication rooms, where they are installed in network racks. My part of the installation is also to pre configure and programm the routers and switches, so I am able to get them up and running and ready for service.
