Led the documentation effort to identify and edit all of Medco’s corporate financial policy and application Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents for the IBM India outsourcing project. Documentation included over 140 Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Capital Planning, and Cash Applications documents. Led the effort to provide support documentation for the entire GETS Database Services IT Operations infrastructure for L1 support in Bangalore, India (for Oracle, Sybase, and SQL Server environments). Documentation included: Standard Operating Environment documents, procedural run books (installation, configuration), system documents (all database client/server details), and hundreds of application DR run books. Also created and maintained multiple SharePoint sites for project task tracking and documentation repositories.

Led the documentation effort to create 20 detailed system documents for the applications that network with JPMorgan Chase\'s Portfolio Analysis System. These applications are mostly driven by IBM mainframe JCL jobs that launch COBOL code and SQL queries (IBM DB2) to perform financial data processing (with aggregations and calculations).
Other applications were client/server-based and run on a MS SQL Server application. All documentation work was performed in MS Word 97 and Visio 2000. I also performed CMM Software Quality Assurance for JPMC.

Created user guides for BNPP’s web-based applications. Performed database analysis and created migration specifications to merge existing bank application data to their Oracle database. Also created a detailed report requirement specification document (design specifics for 25 new bank reports).

Created a large suite of technical specification and user’s guide documents for Deutsche Bank’s proprietary equity and trading system applications. All of these documents were legally required for audit and the technical specifications contained specific details for hardware/software/network requirements, related interfaces, system architecture, and disaster recovery details. All documentation work was performed in MS Word 97 and Visio.

Created a user\'s guide and an online help system (with hypertext) for Merck-Medco’s web-based pharmaceutical Benefits Messaging System – using MS Word 2002 with Doc-To-Help 6.0 installed. This application allows users to view benefits, create (drug) copay messaging structures, and attach the messages to complex copay pricing structures (using Boolean formulas). These messages are viewed daily by millions of Merck-Medco customers (nationally), via the Internet.
Also created a Technical Specification that details the specifics of the entire Medco IT infrastructure, including: Client/Server network connectivity, IBM mainframe details (3270 with Operating System OS/390), IBM DB2 database specifics, and Client web site details (for the Business-to-Client and Business-to-Business web sites).

Created extensive user\'s manuals for GenRe\'s proprietary derivatives pricing and trading systems and for their market data and rate setting applications. All GUI application development was created with C# / .NET (Microsoft\'s suite of object-oriented programming languages) – plus XML and SOAP.
All user documentation was created using Microsoft Word 2000 with Doc-To-Help installed, for the creation of both printed documents and an online (hypertext) help system. All help files (.chm/HTML) were fully indexed, cross-referenced, and contained full-sized graphics. Also created a development support web site that contained low-level MS SQL Server database and code-level details (mostly by use of automated Perl/CGI scripts, for real-time queries/data generation).

Created about 50 disaster recovery documents for all of Commerzbank\'s proprietary and third-party trading applications and operating systems. All of these documents were legally required for audit and each contained specific details for hardware/software/network requirements, related interfaces, installation procedures, and disaster recovery procedures. Also created related system security documentation. All work was performed in MS Word 98, Visio, and MS FrontPage (for a document distribution Intranet site).

Led the team that developed production information for Morgan Stanley\'s Market Data Referential Data Intranet web site (that is used by IT support personnel in California and in England). This web site supplied programming and production details for the various proprietary Shell, Perl, and C++ applications that ran and validated a significant portion of Morgan Stanley\'s financial IT systems (for Equities and Fixed Income). Also documented specifics of related Sybase database objects and other production applications such as AutoSys.
Much of the web information that was gathered and compiled was put into Sybase tables and then Perl/CGI scripts were created and used to dynamically query and write the results to the web site. All work performed in HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Perl/CGI scripting, Dreamweaver, and Visio.

Created user and organizational documentation for Citibank\'s Electronic Software Distribution system. This documentation included project definitions, operations manuals, technical design specifications, and functional requirements.
I also developed back-end encryption documentation (Entrust software), back-end server information, and QA strategy documents. Technologies involved were C++, Windows NT, MS Access database, and a host of third-party software applications. All work was performed in MS Word 97 (with Visio graphics).

Created a large, detailed user’s manual for Lehman\'s extensive Global Equity Derivatives (C++) application (used for front-to-back office trading, P&L, reporting, reconciliation, etc.). Worked with the database team to perform investigative forensics into the bank’s integrated Sybase/UNIX/AS/400 trading and back-office systems while documenting its low-level program and database details. Created an Intranet site for UBS\' Swaps Technology Group to support the IT requirements of the fixed-income derivatives trading floor. All web content was created in HTML and was fully inter-linked with sophisticated virtual indexes and automated search engines. This content also contained full-color graphics, Java applets, and Perl/CGI scripts (for automated data access and generation).
Documentation included details for proprietary Swaps trading applications, system administration procedures, and C++ development code. Also documented specifics for an upcoming UBS Windows NT rollout. All work was performed in FrameMaker 4.0, MS Word 6, UNIX (Sun Solaris), and Windows NT.

Tested and developed documentation for IBM’s POWER Visualization System software products. These technologies were state-of-the-art digital capture, compression, and composition of multi-media images and audio for the scientific and entertainment industries.
