To satisfy this need the systems implemented included the Navis Terminal Operating System (TOS), Maximo Engineering Maintenance, Oracle Financial Accounting as well as “in-house” development.
• I managed two data centers (40 kilometers apart) and networked them to provide guaranteed 24/7 uptime service for two port complexes to provide superior customer service and the on-going operations at the two terminals I also guided the use of Oracle DBMS as a corporate standard and became the organization’s first Oracle DBA.
