Project #6: Global Human Resources Solution (GHRS) (Mar 2005 – Jun 2006)
Confidential,
Role:- Tech Lead & Onsite Co-ordination
Description: -
GHRS is a customizable product, which enables the employees to perform employee self service and manager self service, HR, and Admin activities. The GHRS application will be responsible for processing the transactions and then transmit the updates on employees’ data to PeopleSoft HRMS. HR portal is a dashboard, from which the employee can select links based on his/her role. GHRS consists of different modules such as Employee Self Service (ESS), Manager Self Service (MSS), Administration, HR Apps, Performance Management (PM), Staffing & Recruiting, Benefits, Shared Services (i.e. Helpdesk), Compensation, Learning & Development.
Employee Self-Service (ESS) allows an employee to view and update relevant personal information. This module allows an employee to view My Employment Profile, Pay Check Information, update personal information of Address, Bank Account, Emergency Contact, Tax, Marital Status, Savings Bonds, Work Contact and initiate Flexible Work Option Request to manager for approval.
Manager Self-Service (MSS) transactions will enable supervisors to view relevant information about their employee(s), initiate and/or approve transactions and generate reports. All transactions will interact with PeopleSoft to fetch the existing data and updates Peoplesoft in batch process once final approver in approval path approves the transaction.
MSS module allows supervisors to initiate transactions on an employee like Organization Change/Transfer, Direct Supervisor change, Dual Accountability Manager change, Alternate T&E Expense Approver change, Job Title Change, Officer Title Nominations, Off-Cycle or Special Salary change, Promotions or Demotions, One Time Payments/Awards/Additional Hours, Employment Status change and Termination. Each of these transactions requires approval from each approver who is in approval path to complete the initiated transaction.
This system allows all Supervisors and Special Role Owners that are in the workflow approval paths as approvers or FYI notification receivers, to access the Inbox. The Status box allows the user to keep track of the status of the transaction after it was submitted or approved. This section will categorize the transactions as transactions initiated by the user, approved/rejected by the user, received as FYI, initiated as delegatee and approved/rejected as delegatee. The Delegation transaction allows a supervisor to delegate his or her Initiation and/or Approval access to another employee in the same or different organization. This transaction also allows for Role Delegation.
The HR Apps module allows Super Users to create approval structures, assign employees to a specific role and assign a role to an approval structure.
All ESS transactional data are updated to Peoplesoft through Component Interfaces (CI) in real time. All MSS transactions are updated to Peoplesoft through Component Interfaces (CI) in batch process. The Global Data Warehouse (GDW) is constructed by extracting the data from PeopleSoft (the source data repository) and History data.
Responsibilities: Analysis, Design, Preparation of HLD, LLD, Impact Analysis, Coding for few MSS transactions and
common tasks (I.e. Peoplesoft CI Integration, Java Mail, Log4J implementation, Framework Code
changes), Technical Support, Integration, Testing, Deployment , Bug Tracking & Fixing.
Software : Java 2, Servlets, EJB, JSP, J2EE, Oracle 9, Oracle Workflow 2.6, Java Mail, Sun One App Server 7,
Eclipse 3.1, Rational Rose 2003, VSS, Log4J 1.2.9, Ant, TOAD, Peoplesoft 8.8, GDW, HTML, Java Script,

Project #7: MIS for Individuelle Zielfestlegung (Oct ’2004 – Feb’2005)
Confidential,
Role:- Project Lead
Description: -
This system has three modules named HOST, DWH, Intranet and used to measure individual performance in order to identify coaching potential. HOST module handles background process in mainframes to upload the required data used by DWH.DWH modules handles collecting information of goals data entered by branch manager from oracle database, calculating sales results / variety and reports by Fincon and upload the results data to oracle application database.
Intranet module provides interface for the end user for entering of his own settings and goals by an employee and branch manager. Intranet will check user authorization from SOE system from LDAP server. This application will not directly communicate to DWH, rather DWH directly access and update the application database. This application stores the information entered by employees, branch managers and sales directors and administrators. The settings screen is used for registering the employee to this system. The enter goals screen is used for entering goals by branch manager for each employee under branch manager. The administration screen allows to add the sales directors SOE Id and region, so that the sales director can be able to see the report that region only. The various reports like sales results, sales variety, regional report for product wise, bank report, can view by each employee, branch manager and sales director etc depending on their access rights like sales results/variety report can be viewed by branch managers, regional report for particular product can be viewed by sales director, which entry done in assignment table screen, bank report can be viewed by an employee who are having SOE id.
