Manager – E-Business Development Group __ 2003-2005 Partnered with several Prudential.com E-Business units (Investments, Insurance, Real Estate and Business to Business) as a business / technology liaison and data analyst to identify their data requirements and deliver business intelligence, metrics, drill down data mining and reporting systems. Designed, created and maintained several data warehouses and metadata repositories insuring all information was accurate and adhered to well defined business rules. Hired, managed and provided ongoing assessment to a programming team which was responsible for importing the Prudential.com weblogs and other pertinent data files from numerous sources using ETL processes. More importantly business units could track the effectiveness of their current web based products, as well as allocate funds for future web related initiatives. Other IT projects included:
- The migration of data and ETL processes from one data warehousing software product to another (Sagent to MS CommerceServer2000).
- Manage the full project life cycle of concept identification, design, development, QA/testing, installation and post-implementation review of several warehouses for multiple business areas.
- Developed Service Desk call tracking.
- Translated Prudential.com Client and Public site web logs into click stream path analysis and drill down metric reporting.
- Product Client site registration reporting.
- Gather Self-Serve site metrics (Change of address, phone, email, etc.)

Sr. Project Manager (Order Entry System) __1984-1996Managed the redesign and streamlining of a legacy Order Entry system - product orders had been manually taken at the store level on preprinted forms and later key punched for transmission to a central computer for processing. Aside from the field operations improvements, a new Reporting, Order Tracking and Inventory Control system as well as data feeds to the GL and AP systems were implemented. This was a true end-to-end phased restructuring of how they did business.
- Participated in the RFP process to select the handheld order entry device.
- Worked with the business units to identify their needs and translate them into technical specs.
- Designed software application specs for the Symbol MSI handheld device.
- Created training materials and trained U.S. and Canadian sales force on use of the Symbol MSI handheld device. Provided ongoing helpdesk support.
