Green Point has been using Gallagher Millennium, a mortgage lending software developed by Gallagher Financial Services as their Loan Origination System. Due to inadequate support and performance issues, GPM has decided to move to a new system called Empower. Empower system is comprised of 2 major subsystems. They are called Pre-Funding and Post-Funding. Pre-Funding system is used for loan origination while Post-Funding is used for tracking the loan after it is funded for its legal compliance, sending it to the investor and finally reaching the warehouse department. Pre-Funding application is a client server application accessed via the Citrix thin client while post-funding is an n-tier application developed using .NET solutions and accessed via Internet Explorer.
