This is an internet application in which various companies apply for the drug subsidy for their retirees online. There are four roles in the system which the user can play. They are Account Manager, Authorized Representative, Actuary and Designee. The users have to come in and register to play one of these roles in the system and each role has some designated activities associated with it. The Account manager is the one that initiates the whole process for any given company. He registers into the system using the URL gives his personal information and then also authorizes somebody as the authorized representative for this particular account/company. Once he authentication is verified (SSN, Date of birth etc), he can log in to the system and apply for the drug subsidy for the retirees of that company. An invitation is also sent via email to the authorized representative that he has been assigned the role of AR (authorized rep). The AR now comes in and registers into the system by giving his personal details by using the invitation id that was sent to him in the email. Once AR is authenticated, he can now log in to the system and view/edit the details of the application for the drug subsidy program. The role of an Actuary is to attest the benefit options that a particular application might have and also the application. Once the application is attested, the AR can then submit the application. Once an application is submitted, a decision will be made whether the application is accepted or rejected.
