Responsibilities:

Installed SAS Viya 3.4 on a 10 node Linux RHEL cluster
Supported 200 Viya users including installing Jupyter Hub
Upgraded a five node AIX grid (Veritas clustered file system) to AIX P8 (Spectrum Scale clustered file system) servers and migrating to SAS 9.4m5 and LSF 10. This upgrade includes clustered metadata, round-robin gsub servers and a middle-tier in a production environment and a three node cluster in a development environment, including clustered metadata servers and a clustered middle-tier.
Upgraded the current 11 node LINUX grid/VA/EBI cluster from SAS9.4m3 to SAS 9.4m5 and LSF 10.1. The storage was migrated from Isilon to IBM Spectrum Scale Clustered File System (GPFS). The cluster includes Visual Analytics, Contextual Analytics and Enterprise Miner, a clustered metadata, two round-robin gsub (via F5), and a full middle-tier fail over environment.
Providing support for the SAS EBI system on an AIX 7.0 LPARs, Linux and Wintel environments, plus Windows clients. Responsible for implementing a five-node grid with a twelve node SAS Visual Analytics distributed environment. Supporting Base SAS and conversion to SAS 9.4. Performing code redesign to resolve issues arising from old-style Unix permissions issues.
Instrumental in designing, implementing and configuring a six node P770 AIX 6.1 environment. This including installing and configuring an RTM Linux server, six computing nodes and separate Grid Job Submission server.
Performed base SAS support including installation, maintenance, and optimization of 15 UNIX servers (AIX, HP/UX, Solaris).
Developed implementation plan and server design for a remote data center with six Solaris SAS servers. Remotely administered these servers and assisted customers with access issues.
Primarily responsible for upgrading 19 SAS Unix servers to utilize SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata, including Proc SQL support.
Oversaw various SAS projects, working with users, creating process/procedures and also created user guides, SAS standards documentation and SAS best practices documents.
Oversaw and monitored SAS licensing. Responsible for coordinating with SAS contracts to ensure that we were in-compliance and also to resolve contracting issues.
